This impact fund from the Belgian investment group Incofin (with over €1 bn in assets under management) is the first private financing initiative dedicated to providing access to safe drinking water in emerging markets, undoubtedly one of the most critical humanitarian challenges of our time.
Given its extensive experience in emerging markets, Incofin struck us as the ideal partner to embark on this complex yet vitally important journey toward global access to water, where private investment is essential to complement public efforts. The fund aims to distribute 20 billion liters of drinking water by 2030.
