"Together, composting and feeding the soil." Les Alchimistes collect food waste from over 5,000 professionals across almost 30 French urban areas and turn it into certified compost. Every tonne collected and processed avoids 278 kg of CO2 compared to traditional incineration or landfill routes.
Social impact
True to its convictions, the company hires people from back-to-work employment programs for almost half of its operational roles.
