Social impact
Desconecta is a network of centers specializing in adolescent mental health and school rehabilitation, now present in Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga. Its model combines daily therapeutic classes in the morning with day hospital care in the afternoon, in small groups of up to 6 students, with families closely involved throughout. Since its creation, more than 2,100 young people have been supported, with a success rate above 90% across treatment and academic outcomes.
With our partner Creas, we are especially proud to support what we see as one of the most fitting responses to the mental health struggles affecting so many teenagers today. Combining small-group schooling with day-care treatment has proven to be a winning formula, already validated across some ten cohorts of teenagers treated by Desconecta. We want to help scale the company broadly across Spain and turn it into a source of inspiration across Europe.
